For our thematic project, we shot a 5-minute short film about Lucid Dream. A Lucid dream is any dream in which one is aware that he/she is dreaming, and it can be achieved by practice. There are lot of people out there practicing, trying to have lucid dreams for their own purpose. In our thematic project, we will b e telling a story about an extremely introverted, anti-social girl who is very inquisitive about social life and trying to use lucid dreams to gain better understandings of extroverted people and their social life. The main character will use body images to help us gain a better understanding of the story. We believe that audiences will be interested in our film because everyone has their own experience of dreaming, and everyone is curious about the ability to control their own dreams.
